Advanced Eye Charts will turn your Android mobile phone into an accurate, multi-purpose, flexible, interactive and fun eye chart. It will be the only eye chart app you will ever need for your phone. You will make your iPhone friends envy as there is no such a nice app on iPhone yet.
- It is accurate because it has been calibrated with real eye chart.
- It is multi-purpose because it features both distant visual acuity test and near visual acuity test. Not only that, it also has a color vision test and color vision simulator as a bonus.
- It is flexible because it supports six different chart types – Snellen, Sloan, Tumbling ‘E’, Landolt ‘C’ (a.k.a broken wheel), HOTV and hand shapes for kids. It could be black on white as in real eye chart or white on black which could be better in case the room is not bright enough.
- It is interactive because it guides you through the testing process, allows multiple ways to check your answers including voice recognition, intelligently goes up and down the scale to look for your vision. At the end, it will show a report of all your answers and a result. In the other word, you can do the eye testing all by yourself and get a result you can trust.
- It is fun as you can use color blind simulator to find out what the pictures look like in color deficiencies people’s eyes. You will find it is a lot easier to get your kids attention to do the eye test as they would think the app is a game.

I’m Thailand ophthalmologist.
My country does not support downloading paid android apps via the Market.
How can i buy this program.

Thanks
You can use paypal to send the payment of $1.99 to email yingwentech@gmail.com. We will get email notification from paypal once you did it. Thanks.
I already got the app.
Thanks for making this good app. It’s useful for me. No need to bring
a near chart with me anymore.
But one suggestion (with hope), could you update this app with “Number”snellen chart?
It’s very very useful for elderly patient in my country who cannot read the English letter.
Thanks
You are welcome and thanks for purchasing it.
The snellen chart is only designed to use certain letters called optotypes. My understanding is if I replaced them with numbers, the result will no longer be accurate because the gaps of the opening of the numbers are different from those of the optotypes. Since you are professional, you can correct me if I am wrong. Maybe for near chart, it doesn’t matter?
Why can’t you use E chart instead? People don’t know English can still point the direction.
This looks very interesting. Do you have any plans to create an application that can adjust the system settings for a ‘Droid so that users who were vision corrective glasses (i.e. Reading Glasses) can clearly see the text on a Droid without having to put on reading glasses?
That’d be a big win for 40+ yr old users!
Thanks !
I purchased your app to use in my ophthalmology practice testing patients. The charts work but the box that asks what do you see is black and I can’t see the choices. FYI testing single optotypes is not acceptable for ambyopic patients. It would be great to add a reading card mode and to be able to change stimulus size from the menu instead of going to settings.
Great app! Is there a web-based version of this that can be accessed?
Unfortunately we don’t have. The purpose of the app is its mobility. I am sure other people must already make a desktop version or a web version.
